Overview:
Termed the ‘Greatest Show On Earth’, this journey of a lifetime starts in the capital city of Kenya, Nairobi. Drive to Masai Mara for a chance to see Africa’s amazing predators (hyenas, lions, leopards, and wild dogs) in action. Cross the Isebania border into Serengeti for more game viewing. Later, travel to the Ngorongoro crater to possibly witness over 20,000 animal species in the world’s largest dormant volcanic caldera. This journey to Kenya and Tanzania will take you into the heart and homeland of many wild animals so be sure to keep your eyes and cameras peeled for sights of giraffes, elephants, eagles, and even some endangered animals like the rhino. You can definitely expect a trip of natural wonders and fun sightseeing in addition to eats of the local people and local Kenyan coffee which is among the best in the world. Get ready for a wild ride in one of the only places left on earth to its natural beauty.

The Plan:
Day 1 Nairobi
Welcome to Kenya! After you land, recharge and explore the city, visit the Nairobi National Park, Giraffe Center or the Karen Blixen Museum. Or, get acquainted with your new surroundings over a cup of Kenyan coffee.
Day 2 Nairobi - Masai Mara: 5-6 Hours Drive by 4x4
Your guide will meet and take you on a 5-6 hour drive to Masai Mara. Upon park arrival, you may choose to do a game viewing, then return to camp for late check-in, or visa-versa. Lunch will be provided while in transit to Masai Mara.
Day 3 Masai Mara
Depart your camp early for your first game drive of the day and see one of the greatest wildlife habitats on earth. Keep your eyes peeled for elephants, buffalo, falcons, eagles, and more!
Day 4 Masai Mara
Another day to explore more of the Mara and the Mara River! You will have views of elephants and hippos and other animals on the riverside! A rare sighting of an endangered rhino may make your excursion even more memorable!
Day 5 Masai Mara - Isebania - Serengeti
Masai Mara - Isebania: 2-4 Hours Drive by 4x4 Isebania Border Crossing Isebania - Serengeti: 3-5 Hours Drive by 4x4 Bid farewell to your Kenyan guide and board a 4x4 to the Isebanian border, from which you’ll be transferred to the Serengeti. Its massive land of grassy plains, savannah, and woodland is home for many carnivores and bird species. Enjoy afternoon game viewing before retreating into your camp for freshly-made local food and a round of drinks.
Day 6 Serengeti
Start the day with an experimental game drive of predators and prey. Then, spend some time on a safari to witness the well-known wildebeest migration. Sightings cannot be promised as migration can be unpredictable depending on food source availability.
Day 7 Serengeti - Ngorongoro: 3-5 Hours Drive by 4x4
Today you’ll trek to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area - a protected area and a World Heritage Site. Proceed to your accommodation while experiencing the vast size of the inactive volcanic caldera.
Day 8 Ngorongoro
Your veteran guide will show you around the park grounds of Ngorongoro. Marvel at the crater that is about 20 kilometers wide and 2000 feet deep, and look out for foxes, hyenas, cheetahs and leopards at its heart.
Day 9 Ngorongoro - Arusha: 2.5 Hours Drive by 4x4
Today you’ll visit Arusha, the tourism capital of Tanzania. On your way to Arusha, stop for a bit of local souvenir shopping. Later, enjoy lunch at Arusha Hotel, before an airport transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport via private vehicle.

Weather and climate
Kenya & Tanzania
Weather in Kenya and Tanzania is warm and humid at the coast, cool and humid in the central highlands and hot and dry in the north and the east. Daytime temperatures in most parts are steadily warm all year. Kenya and Tanzania’s long rainy season is from April to June, and the short rainy season is from late October to mid-December. Game viewing is best during the dry winter months between May and August, and in the warmer spring months of September and October.
