Day 1 Arrive Cape Town

Welcome to South Africa! Begin your journey of amazement in Cape Town, the stunning city bordering two oceans and watched over by stately Table Mountain. Upon arrival, you will be transported to your luxury hotel where you will receive a detailed travel packet with documents, a detailed itinerary, and relevant e-tickets.

Day 2 Cape Town (Half day)

Explore the complicated history of Cape Town through its delicious food. Join a fascinating walking tour that mixes traditional food, street food, and artisan foodie and coffee shops, sampling as you go. Enjoy traditional Indian and Muslim flavors, artisan coffee, and bobotie pies which both Cape Malay and Afrikaners treasure. Please enjoy a very light breakfast to save room for the tastings.

Day 3 Cape Town (Half day)

The Cape Peninsula contrasts the big city. With national parks, a bohemian seaside, and working fishing villages this is the real South Africa. Today you see it all as you stop at Surfers Corner for coffee, browse bohemian art shops, and hike the secret beaches your local guide will bring you to see. Check out Cape Point and enjoy an included lunch at a local eatery.

Day 4 Cape Town (Half day)

Discover the beauty and excellent wine of the Cape Vineyards. You can explore on foot or by bike and travel at your own pace with a local guide. Explore Franschhoek enjoying the colonial buildings and stunning views and enjoy a cellar tour and wine tasting before joining an introduction to a wine-making course. Rejuvenate over local pastries in Stellenbosch before a local lunch with hand-picked wines.

Day 5 Cape Town –Nelspruit (KMIA) – Sabi Sands (1hour 30minute flight/ 1hour 30minute – 3hour drive)

Board your plane for a short flight to Mpumalanga before meeting your driver for the drive to your lodge at Sabi Sands. Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve is a special place. Massive elephants roam among herds of zebras, giraffes, Cape buffalo, hippos, and all the Big 5. After a spectacular safari head back to the luxury lodge for an outstanding dinner in the boma.

Day 6 Sabi Sands (Full day)

Arise early as much of the best game viewing is done in the wee hours of the morning. Although many of the species are well known, seeing wild elephants, giraffes, lions, and others is unforgettable. Return to the lodge for breakfast before an afternoon drive. Private game reserves allow for off-roading bringing you right into the animal's environments. Finish your day with dinner.

Day 7 Sabi Sands (Full day)

This morning enjoy a walking tour of the bush with your armed ranger and get an up-close education on the native flora, insects, and smaller animals. After lunch venture back into the brush to search for endangered rhinos along with dozens of other species to add to your photo album. After returning to the lodge you can enjoy a final evening before another delicious dining experience.

Day 8 Sabi Sands – Nelspruit (KMIA) – Vilanculos (1hour 30minutes- 3hour drive / 4hour flight/ 20minute drive)

Transfer from your safari lodge to the airport for a flight to Mozambique. Upon arrival check in to your luxury resort at Vilanculos.

Day 9 Vilanculos (at leisure)

Your luxury hotel offers spectacular beaches and comfy loungers but there is also a wide range of activities to participate in from sandboarding the red cliffs, to kayaking, to snorkeling the turquoise water of the Indian Ocean. On-site the lounge offers baking, craft design, and other activities. Days in the sun can be spent lounging near the pool before movie nights with popcorn.

Day 10 Vilanculos (at leisure)

Villa Santorini is a stunning beach resort and guests are encouraged to book additional activities. You can charter a private boat to the coast, go deep-sea fishing, or enjoy a horseback excursion. Day 11 Vilanculos – Johannesburg – Return home (20minute drive/ 4hour flight)
