Day 1 San Jose - Bajos Del Toro (airport transfer)
Enjoy a transfer from the airport to Bajos Del Toro today. For your convenience, an English-speaking assistant will escort you from your flight. Upon arrival in Bajos Del Toro, you’ll receive a number of welcome packages, vouchers, and a map to assist you.
Day 2 Bajos Del Toro (Half Day Tour, Dinner)
Enjoy a private hiking tour in the town of Toro Amarillo. Located in a secluded paradise near Costa Rica’s volcanic range, the town boasts the renowned Desague River- a lone body of blue water within the Poas volcano. Experience its beauty as you traverse the landscape. For dinner, try a storybook dining experience like no other- a ways off a secret path, enjoy al fresco dining at the hands of a fantastic chef.
Day 3 Bajos Del Toro - Arenal (Half Day Tour, Transfer)
In the morning, enjoy a tour of some of the region’s most exotic birds- including tiny hummingbirds, endangered black guans, and quetzals. Novices and birding enthusiasts alike will enjoy this experience! Later, enjoy a short drive to Arenal. After settling in at your hotel, you’ll be transferred to the Arenal Volcano for some awesome photo opportunities. Explore the surrounding wildlife trails, and keep your eyes peeled for fascinating animals!
Day 4 Arenal (6 Hour Tour)
Enjoy a white-water rafting adventure like no other today! Accompanied by expert guides and other rafting enthusiasts, you’ll take on the powerful current of the Balsa San Carlos River for two to three hours, before taking a break for a light snack. Head back out on the water for a few more hours of fun, before drying off and travelling to a nearby estate for a delicious Costa Rican lunch.
Day 5 Arenal - Punta Islita (4.5 Hour Tour)

Day 6 Punta Islita (2 Hour Shared Tour)
Explore the forest canopy from a steel cable zipline today! Your adventure will take place from ground platforms and cross a deep canyon for spectacular views and a real adrenaline rush. Keep an eye out for the highly social howler monkey as you zip through the air- though with a call that can be heard over three miles, it’s likely you’ll hear him first!
Day 7 Punta Islita (Self Guided)

When you grow tired, relax at a freshwater pool, grab some rounds at the golf course, play a few sets at the tennis courts, or, of course, bask in the sun at the beach!
Day 8 Punta Islita (airport transfer home)
Enjoy a transfer to Liberia’s airport, where you’ll board a plane for your journey home.
