3 Days in San Gerardo de Dota
3 Days in Palmar Sur
4 Days in Corcovado

The Plan:
Day 1 San Jose - San Gerardo de Dota (airport transfer)

Day 2 San Gerardo de Dota (half day tour)

Set out on an immersive tour of Quetzales National Park today. If you’re headed out to the park between February and May, it is quite likely that you’ll catch a glimpse of the elusive quetzal- considered by many to be one of the most beautiful birds in the Western Hemisphere. Even if you don’t see one, the entirety of the park is absolutely stunning, and is sure to offer a bevy of photo opportunities.
Day 3 San Gerardo de Dota - Palmar Sur (3.5 hour transfer)

Transfer from your hotel to Palmar Sur today, via private car. Your trip will take about 3.5 hours.
Day 4 Palmar Sur (5 hour tour)

Travel across the island at your leisure today. In the 3 hours allotted for your own personal adventure, you might elect to take a walk along the beach, or scour the treeline for macaws. Enjoy lunch at your leisure, then relax on a nearby hammock. Return to your hotel whenever you’re ready!
Day 5 Palmar Sur (Half Day Tour with Lunch)

Enjoy a horseback ride like no other, as you visit Nauyaca Falls today. This waterfall is a gem, hidden in the jungles just outside of Palmar Sur. With the help of your guide, learn about the wildlife in the area, and take as many photos as you’d life. If you’re a bit hot from horseback riding, cool off by taking a dip in the clear pools of freshwater nearby. Return to your hotel for lunch.
Day 6 Palmar Sur - Corcovado (2.5 hour transfer)

Board a vessel for your trip to Corcovado today. Relax as you cruise through the mangrove wetlands, and look out for crocodiles, monkeys, and beautiful tropical birds. As you pass through the mangroves and into the open ocean, you may even spot dolphins and whales! Enjoy refreshments on board, and a fresh lunch and courtesy cocktail on arrival!
Day 7 Corcovado (Shared tour)

Touted as both the “last remaining Pacific lowland rainforest of sustainable size in Central America” and the “most biologically intense place on earth,” Corcovado certainly has plenty to see. Take a look at the number of jaguar, scarlet, and tapir macaws, listen for the rustle of exotic wildlife, and enjoy the opportunity to tour an area very few humans have had the privilege to explore!
Day 8 Corcovado (6 Hour Shared Tour)

Explore Cano Island today. Go diving or snorkeling at one of the world-class sites, enjoy a picnic lunch on the beach, swim, sunbathe, or relax. The crystal clear waters offer the perfect opportunity to catch up on some much needed peace and quiet. If you do decide to dive or snorkel, expect to see some of the most exotic sealife on this side of the hemisphere!
Day 9 Corcovado - Palmar Sur - San Jose (Transfer, 4 hour private tour)

Enjoy a quick transfer to Palmar Sur airport via boat. This transfer will take about 30 minutes. On arrival, board an hour long flight to San Jose.
