Your tour will start in Papeete, the Tahitian capital, where you’ll enjoy views of the stunning Vaipahi Gardens, the rich artwork of the Gauguin Museum, and the black sand beaches of the island shore. Later, you’ll explore Moorea- an island that is as much sea and mountain as it is beauty. Experience the island’s picturesque and refreshing lagoon, and lounge on the pearly white beaches. The Plan:
Day 1 Papeete (airport transfer)
Enjoy a transfer from the airport to your hotel today.
Day 2 Papeete (half day tour)
Ride a rugged 4x4 to the heart of the island for stunning views of the valley of Papenoo. Enjoy views of the waterfall and tropical shrubs, and connect with nature in this incredibly tranquil environment. Your tour guide will be able to answer any questions you may ask about the rich and picturesque landscape.
Day 3 Papeete - Moorea (transfer)
Enjoy a transfer to Moorea via ferry today. You will have the rest of the day to relax and explore as your discretion.
Day 4 Moorea (6-hour tour)
Explore beautiful Moorea and its otherworldly lagoon today. Your guide will take you on a trek through Opunohu and Cook’s Bay, where you’ll enjoy incredible views of the entire island. Later, you’ll work up an appetite in the lagoon itself, and enjoy a feast of a picnic for lunch.
Day 5 Moorea - Papeete (airport transfer home)
Transfer via ferry to Papeete, before boarding a plane at the local airport for your flight home.
